The Centerpoint Medical Office Building, located at 19550 E 39th Street in Independence, Mo. Was opened in May 2007 as part of Healthcare Corporation of America, Inc.’s hospital project and is the newest hospital in eastern Jackson County. The campus includes the medical center itself and a medical office building/outpatient services center connected to the hospital on the west side of the hospital. Specialty areas include premier outpatient rehabilitation center, an imaging center, a wound care facility, and the Centerpoint Ambulatory Surgery Center, orthopedics, women’s health, cancer treatment and cardiovascular to name a few.
